My stay was ok, nothing spectaculer but, met my needs. ++ right near Penn Station ++restaurants and shops are all walkable ++The price is reasonable ++the area is relatively safe, after 10pm or so, the homeless gather at the Moynihan bldg. Also advise guests who do not wear masks to put one on. I think more signs, particularly in the elevators would help. There was 1 very small sign regarding masks. The solo hand sanitizer in the lobby was out of liquid. Try one of the food trucks outside for a "real breakfast" In terms of Covid 19 protocol, guests are NOT given handiest as is described. Frozen oj in a carton, orange, bananas, yogurt and wrapped pastries. In early July it was identical food, only this time you had to put the food in a bag. The breakfast is the most lame excuse for breakfast. This time I did not have to wipe down the water stains and food. The room was nice, towels and such were there. It appears as if the nicer rooms are higher up. I paid extra for a King size room with a city view. Check in took almost an hr because the room was not ready at 3:45pm. I returned because of the location and price. The room was small, but the biggest flaw was a brick wall was the view. As a Gold Bonvoy member, I thought I would get a great room. Each time I brought this to staff attention, they acted annoyed. The room was dirty, there were no towels, no coffee, no amenities. I chose it based on the 2min walk from Penn Station.
